The Pictou County Amateur Radio Club holds an
annual BBQ each August for members and guests. The BBQ is the only
summer activity for the Club members and has been a popular event based
on the attendance over the years.
The 2009 BBQ was held at the home of VE1IV. A special welcome to Tom Cohoon (VE1TA) and his XYL Shirley Cohoon (VE1JFG) who joined us this year. They brought the south shore sense of humour and enjoyed their share of the burgers, chicken and scallops. It was great to see our Senior Club member VE1YP (Vernon) in attendance as well.
